We found a firmware problem in our virtualization infrastructure, to prevent any issues that might happen because of it, we decided to perform an emergency maintenance as soon as possible.
At the same time, it is required that we upgrade some software components of our virtualization environment. They will improve it's stability and reliability as well as allow for the firmware upgrade.
No service disruptions are expected and there will be no downtime of the virtual servers but there may be delays in processing changes that are made to virtual machines during the maintenance.

We will upgrade parts of our network infrastructure which also includes rebooting the devices inside the affected network segment. This will lead to connectivity interruptions of a few seconds up to one hour for all systems in this segment. Affected customers were informed directly about how long they should expect the respective interruption to last.
