We are going to upgrade all of our Nine Kubernetes Engine (NKE) clusters to version 1.31 during the maintenance windows of July 9th and 10th 2025 starting at 00:00 UTC until 04:00 UTC. Affected customers have been informed via mail.

We are upgrading some software components of our virtualization environment in order to improve it's stability and reliability.

No service disruptions are expected and there will be no downtime of the virtual servers or platform services.

Maintenance work will only be performed during the night, the planned time windows are listed below.

• 17.06.2025 (23:00 - 06:00): ES34 (part 1/3)
• 18.06.2025 (23:00 - 06:00): ES34 (part 2/3)
• 19.06.2025 (23:00 - 06:00): ES34 (part 3/3)
• 30.06.2025 (23:00 - 06:00): CZ42 and CZ41 (part 1/4)
• 01.07.2025 (23:00 - 06:00): CZ42 and CZ41 (part 2/4)
• 02.07.2025 (23:00 - 06:00): CZ42 and CZ41 (part 3/4)
• 03.07.2025 (23:00 - 06:00): CZ42 and CZ41 (part 4/4)

Due to unforeseen complications during the first part of the upgrades, we decided to postpone the remaining maintenance work for approximately one month.

This will give us time to fix remaining issues, make sure that they should not come up when progressing with the rest of the upgrades and finally it will help keeping the infrastructure stable.

The next maintenance will be carried out as planned on the 09.06.2025.
