We will upgrade parts of our network infrastructure which also includes rebooting the devices inside the affected network segment. This will lead to an interruption in the connectivity of all Root Servers in that segment.

One of our virtualization nodes in CZ 4.1 (nvirt052) had an outage which caused a downtime for eleven Virtual Root Servers. The affected customers will be informed directly.
